Position Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization. The Financial Analyst should be experienced in all aspects of financial management, regulatory and financial reporting, budget preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures.

Ensures compliance with and prepare reports according to applicable government regulations.


Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly close process
  • Preparation and distribution of financial statements and supporting documentation.
  • Completion of annual financial audit.
  • Works to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances.
  • Reconcile company bank statements.
  • Reconcile and process transactions related to gaming.
  • Maintain company’s budget, reporting variances to management.
  • Assist accounting staff with complicated accounting transactions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures relating to financial management, budget, and accounting.
  • Ensure all accounting practices follow the LAW and established accounting principles.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required, in accounting or related business field.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting or business analysis is required.  Must be able to understand accounting and financial concepts as related to job responsibilities.

This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.  The noise level in the office is usually moderate.
